Wave of Modulation
An easy to use all-analog phaser and vibrato. Warm vintage sounds with modern updates and convenience.
It can do those sweet vintage phaser sounds you grew up hearing from the Small Stone and Phase 90. But also I extended the modulation range beyond where most phasers stop. At the slowest settings it will modulate the signal every 15(!) seconds and at the fastest it will get into atonal ring modulation and choppy tremolo sounds.
I love to use phasers and vibratos to add just a bit of subtle movement to my guitar tone. This pedal can do subtle really well. It has a dry to wet mix knob. And a toggle that can switch between 3 or 5 phaser stages. Set it in 3 stage mode and it will add some subtle movement similar to an MXR Phase 45. Switch it to the 5 stage mode, though, and you will get a much more intense swooshy vocal phaser sound if you need it. There is a surprising amount of versatility and tones available in a compact pedal.
Details:
- All analog effect with discrete transistor preamp
- Vintage sounds but modern circuit design. High input impedance, low output impedance. True bypass.
- Wet control lets you go from almost fully dry direct signal to full-on phaser at noon. Then it starts to remove your dry signal completely and turns the pedal into a pitch-shifting vibrato effect
- Fast or slow rate toggle on the left. Slower speeds tend to be more subtle than faster speeds
- 3 or 5 stage switch on the right. 3 is more subtle and 5 is more intense modulation
- Volume knob lets you adjust the level from cut to boost to push your amp harder if you want it. You probably want it.
- Top mounted jacks and clickless silent relay footswitch
- Use 9 volts only using standard pedal power supplies. Draws less than 100mA (approx 47mA)
- Designed and built in Vancouver with love
